	Johto Region The Johto Region is home to the next group of Pokemon. These Pokemon range from the starters of Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totadile to the Legendary Ho-oh, Lugia, and Celebi. This region is the second region in the Pokemon Universe. The Legendaries of this region are Unown, Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Celebi, Ho-oh, and Lugia. 	Hoenn Region This is the third region in the Pokemon Universe. This region includes a volcano and many islands that are home to its wonderful variety of Pokemon and people. Ash's friends May and Max are from this region. This regions Pokemon range from the starting trio, Treecko, Mudkip, and Torchic, to its legendary Pokemon, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latios, Latias, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi and Deoxys. 	Sinnoh Region The Sinnoh Region is home to the last set of Pokemon. It is rich with plant life and water. It's rich water supply is accented by the three lakes. Ash's friend Dawn lives here as a Pokemon Coordinator. The Pokemon here range from the starting Pokemon, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, to the most legendary of legendary, Arceus. The Pokémon Universe

This world is inhabited by regular people.... with an exception. These people control powerful beings known as Pokémon. Pokémon battle with thier trainers to become more powerful and to one day, help their trainers become Pokémon masters. The main characters of the Pokémon World are Ash, Misty, Brock, Tracy, May, Max, and Dawn. There are many regions where you can explore the bountiful and beautiful world of Pokémon.

You can play as a person, or any Pokémon besides the Legendaries, because they are Legendary and will be used for some of the storyline.
As for being a trainer, you have to visit a Pokémon Lab and talk to the Professor there to obtain your starter Pokémon. From then on, you will be able to capture Pokémon in Pokéballs.

Have fun and be good! You can play as either a human or a Pokémon.
